The Microbiological Analysis Group conducts analyses on food, potable water, medicine, feed and environmental samples. We aim to provide a specialized and efficient service to the private and public sectors. All service and research provided is performed with certified professionalism and approved analytical research methods.

Microbiological research is conducted to monitor animal farming, slaughter and general hygiene at restaurants and food production companies.
The group also performs quality and safety testing for pharmaceutical companies and other sectors, and participates in the development of new methods formicrobiological analysis. Our microbiological analysis includes most pathogens that can be found in food.

In addition, we investigate the performance of micro-organism in and around food, monitor micro-organisms and the effects of hygiene measures. The division regularly provides research and analysis services to pharmaceutical and food production companies, inspection agencies and other divisions within Matís.
